Had a great girls night. We ate pizza and talked about backstreet boys, slaughtering cows, and the difference between jam and jelly (see title of post below). It was pretty awesome. It's always good to have a girls night once in a while.
Friday-
Me and Jen headed to the gorge for the Jack Johnson concert. We met Kate and her boyfriend, Ross, (a really nice guy!) at her aunts summer house that is nearby. The concert was super fun. The gorge is amazing- such a gorgeous view, it makes you wonder how anyone could question the existence of God. The music was awesome, as jack's always is. So relaxing. So, other than the trashed guy behind us taking down his pants and underwear and yelling in our ears, it was awesome!haha. We headed back to Kate's aunt's house that night to sleep. I don't even think I was awake for a second once I hit that pillow.
Saturday-
Jen and I headed back home and jammed to Jack and Jason (mraz, that is) the entire time. We also stopped and got some peaches (delicious!!) and even some antique shopping too. I found myself a super cute cookie tray. Once I got home, i got ready and headed straight over to Hailey's beach party. This was fun- just super relaxed and chll, a great chance to enjoy the beautiful weather. That night we went to san carlos for pinya coladas (virgin for me, woohoo!). I met some really cool girls that are friends with Hailey and they were super nice too.
Sunday-
Kellen and I decided we needed some quality time together. We went to downtown Poulsbo for some more antique shopping (kellen actually really enjoys this, score!). I found a vase thing that is teal for above my kitchen cabinets and also an old fanta bottle. Really cool looking. Then we got lunch at a place called "Tizley's European Pub" in downtown. This place was awesome cause it had authentic european dishes- I had bratwurst and something from Austria called shpetzel (sp?). Basically like an egg side. It was actually really good!
After that Amber came and picked me up and we went to see House Bunny. This was an ok movie, but I would just describe it as a pretty lame knock off of Legally Blonde, so yeah...lol. Then we went to church. We finally got to meet Jared girlfriend/fiance, she seemed really nice. Afterwards we hung out with the usuals at Campanas, a great italian restaurant in Poulsbo.
And here I am.
