My attempt at writing this in German without any help:
Guten Morgan! Wir geht es dir? Mir geht is gut. Ich bin Nicole. Ich habe ein hunde, sie ist shwarz-weise. Ich habe braune haare. Ich liebe mein mann, er spielt fussball. Ich spreche kein deutsche, aber ich lerne deutsche.
What I wrote actually translated to:
Good Morgan! Is we it going you? Is goes me good. I am Nicole. I have a dog, it is shwarz wise. I have brown hairs. I love plays my husband, it soccer. I speak no German, but I learn German.
hehehe. Ok, so not quite the German expert yet....but I am getting there! I have been doing so much rosetta stone, my dreams are in German lately. I also have been watching German kids shows with the kids that I nanny (their Dad is a little psychotically intent on having them learn German). But I'm thankful because I am starting to really get a grasp on the language. It's an amazing feeling! If only I would have had this knowledge when I went to Austria and Germany. But I know I will make it back there someday!
