This week was a long one for sure. I am feeling pretty overwhelmed with work. Though I love it, it is just not a 40 hour a week job. They are supposed to be hiring two new bankruptcy assistant to help us (there are two already, me and another girl). But in the meantime, I feel very overwhelmed, and the stress of that is causing tension between a lot of our department. I really like my job and what I'm doing- it's just to much work!
This week was very busy, as usual. I was exhausted after I got home from work, so i skipped out on going to a football game with friends and just slept. It was so nice! I feel much better now.
Kellen's job is ending soon, and his company has yet to secure another job after this one. Though he has been told that he could have no work for 3-6 months, it really hasn't phased us. I think we've both just gotten to this point that feels like there is just no use in worrying. We know God will provide for us, and that's all we need to know. This company has been very faithful to Kellen, and we appreciate that so much. They are offering to pay for school now-they want him to go to school and eventually become a project manager. Unfortunately, the UW extension program for this fall is completely full...and another unit doesn't start until next fall.So I guess he will be waiting.
I miss a lot of my friends right now but am also just feeling like I wish God created more days in the week- specifically weekend days- hehe.

My dad fixed the space bar! and it was definitely one of those DUH moments...omg...all he did was put it done and press down...and it clicked back on. Don't I feel genius?
This weekend was another crazy busy but good one. Friday was fun- Kellen and I hopped on the ferry to go see Pete and J's new place in Seattle. It's so cute! It's in an old hotel which was opened in the 1920's- really cool looking. We went to to the cheescake factory for dinner- that place is amazing- and then walked around. Me and jess decided that we are going to be making our own lovesacs and then also buying Rosetta stone and learning a foreign language together. Don't ask me how this works since she wants to learn Spanish and I want to learn German, haha.
On saturday my Dad came over to see the new place. It was good to see him, although he is always a very interesting character :). He's quite an emotional guy but I love him just the same.
After he left Amber picked me up to go back to the Bond's for Mackenzie's BBQ. That night we went to Tizley's EuroPub and while all my friends and husband enjoyed a good European beer I had...du..du...du...WATER! awesome. I am counting down days till i can just order a yummy fruity girly drink. grr.
I stayed the night at the Bond's that night because Kellen was going to be working with his boss that day. Amber and I just lounged around and helped get ready for ANOTHER bbq for katherine's soccer team. Then we went to NewLife. It was awesome as always. We followed that up by a fun game of Things in a Box, the best game ever!
Monday was good too. Work went well except for my excessive tiredness from staying up late the night before. But i love work, so I made it through. Then bible study that night, which was really good as usual. It was really small this week- very different than usual- but still good.
Tuesday was another day, another dollar, but I did try making stir fry and it ended up to be pretty BASS. (bad and ass together, gotta try it, all the cool kids are saying it!!)

I actually really like playing soccer! We played on Monday (the bond's, some friends, and some older guys who usually always get together to play on sunday's). i actually REALLY liked it. it was so fun! I ran a ton, which was awesome, but the best part is you don't even realize your working out so much. i actually got a ton of compliments for never playing before, so that was cool too. We might even start an indoor soccer league which would be really fun.
This weekend was really fun. we went camping at lake crescent on Friday, and, despite the temperature, we had a great time filled with smores and hiking. Ok, so the hiking kind of kicked my butt a bit, but the view was worth it. I felt like it was more a work out of my lungs then anything else. But needless to say, i'm glad I did it.
On saturday was the huskie game, a very tragic loss for my dear husband. Lets just say I tried to avoid the subject...and still doing the same. hopefully this weekend against BYU is a bit different.
Sunday was fun too. I got to go village shopping with Amber and Hailey. We found some really cute clothes and then started an awesome art project for above my couch. It looks really cute so far. i might post some pics when it's done.
Monday was another relaxing day. Kellen decided to help his parents out with some carpentry around the house and so I just went and hung out with the fam. Amber decided she desperately needed to get the Prequal to Little Mermaid, so we watched that...i ended up falling asleep...whoops!hehe. That night we went to a BBQ at our friend's house that just got married- hansey and colleen. hansey desperately tried to get Kellen to learn how to salsa dance but kellen wasn't budging. hehe.
Work is still going well, but there is a lady there that needs some prayer. she is going through chemotherapy right now. I don't know if she knows God- but I am continuing to keep her my prayers...
